Martiros Saryan
Martiros Saryan (28 February [18 February O.S.] 1880 – 5 May 1972)
The post impressionist master Martiros Saryan’s final appearance in cinema, at age nearing 90, was in Mikhail Vartanov‘s suppressed debut documentary film The Color of the Armenian Land / Цвет армянской земли (1969) with Parajanov and Minas.
