The Parajanov-Vartanov Institute worked with Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation on the restoration of Parajanov’s masterpiece The Color of Pomegranates and, with UCLA, on the restoration of Vartanov’s masterwork Parajanov: The Last Spring, thanks to the support of Oscar-winning film director Francis Ford Coppola and Grammy-winning rock band System of a Down.
