Munich Film Festival (FilmFest München)
The legendary filmmaker Sergei Parajanov attended the Munich Film Festival in June of 1988 with his film Ashik Kerib and later traveled to the Venice Film Festival (La Biennale di Venezia) and the New York Film Festival (NYFF) in September. Behind Paradjanov (Sergej Paradschanow) is the famous “Maestro” poster of him from the 1988 Rotterdam Film Festival (and attached to it a still from Ashik Kerib).
