This large book 501 Movie Directors: A Comprehensive Guide to the Greatest Filmmakers places the legendary filmmaker Sergei Parajanov in good company. The British (paperback) edition features Alfred Hitchcock on the cover. Steven Spielberg is on the cover of The American (hard cover) edition. There are also Japanese, Spanish and Polish (paperback editions with Hitchcock again). The book also mentions Parajanov: The Last Spring and quotes Mikhail Vartanov, but, sadly, he didn’t see this (2007) book before he passed away in 2009.
